Description
The State Library of Queensland has received funding from the Federal Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts for the Torres Strait Islander Languages Translation and Recording Project. This project focuses on the recording and translating into Torres Strait Islander languages a selection of stories from the publication Myths and Legends of the Torres Strait by Margaret Lawrie. Deliverables include workshops with Torres Strait Islander language speakers in select Queensland communities.
Offerors are invited to tender for the provision of professional services for the position of Project Coordinator to deliver the Torres Strait Islander Languages Recording and Translation Project.
The offer period close time & date and method are outlined in the Request for Quotation document.

Whilst all enquiries should be directed to Belinda Bloomfield at Corporate Administration Agency to the contact details above, at your earliest, any enquiries made during the period from 19 January to 22 January 2010 will need to be addressed directly to the State Library of Queensland project manager (details listed below) to ensure a response is received. It is however suggested that to ensure an adequate response time, that all queries are received by COB (Close of Business) Monday 18 January 2010.
