Description

The objectives of the bulk diesel storage Cape York North project are as follows:
Replace old, non-compliant diesel tanks with new, self-bunded diesel tanks in Cape York Savannah region that comply with AS 1940-2004 and relevant legislation on three (3) sites in Cape York North.
1. Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) NP (CYPAL)
Decommissioning of existing 10,000 litre above ground tank and commissioning of new self bunded above ground 9,500 litre diesel tank.
2. Heathlands National Park Ranger Base
Decommissioning of existing 16,300 litre and 2,000 litre above ground tank and commissioning of new self bunded above ground 6,500 litre diesel tank.
3. Rokeby Base
Decommissioning of existing 6,500 litre and commissioning of new self bunded above ground 6,500 litre diesel tank.
