WA Police Force
Evaluating triage and deconfliction practices for Mixed, Unclear, and Unstable Youth in Countering Violent Extremism contexts
Details
Description
The Western Australia Police Force requires a qualified organisation to support improvements to its triage and deconfliction processes for individuals who may present grievance-fuelled or ideologically motivated risks. Clear and consistent practices between the WA Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (WAFTAC) and the WA Intervention and Support Program (WAISP) are essential to ensuring that individuals are appropriately directed to the most suitable intervention pathway.
To assist with this, the Western Australia Police Force seeks a supplier to undertake a comparative evaluation of current practices and provide practical policy guidance. The Services will include research, analysis of existing processes, stakeholder engagement, and the preparation of a policy recommendations report supported by a validation workshop and final revised report.
The WAFTAC and WAISP teams are located at the Maylands Police Complex, 21 Swan BankRoad, Maylands WA 6051
