Description

The Department of Water requires a suitable service provider to conduct a geophysical study of the Northern Gnangara area. The main aim of the project is to collect data on the spatial distribution of layers that impede recharge to the groundwater table or retain water (e.g. clay or silty layers) within the superficial formations from the surface to 70 metres below ground level. Secondary objectives are: to discern the nature of the contact between the base of the superficial formations and the underlying Leederville, Parmelia or Yarragadee Formations; and to map the watertable.
