WA Public Transport Authority
Supply and Delivery of CCTV Storage Capacity Uplift ? Network storage
Details
Description
Background
There is substantial organic growth of the Closed-circuit television (CCTV) environment across the Public Transport Authority (PTA). This organic growth requires a significant expansion of the CCTV storage capacity.
There is an opportunity with this project to implement a more cost-effective storage solution that provides the required performance and availability for the CCTV environment and reduces the total cost of ownership for the PTA, as the storage capacity requirements increase.
The overall aim of the project is to rationalise and optimise the storage infrastructure across all PTA applications and services providing a more efficient use of available technologies. This approach allows the PTA to minimise future costs and provide a better solution for future expansion.
