Metropolitan Local Government Reform - Provision of Demographic Information
In July 2013 the State Government announced plans to reduce the number of local governments in metropolitan Perth from 30 to 14.
Local governments were invited to submit a proposal for amalgamation or boundary change to the Local Government Advisory Board (LGAB)and most accepted this invitation. The Minister also submitted proposals to the LGAB that cover the majority of metropolitan area.
the LGAB is seeking to engage a suitable Respondent to assist in the assessment/analysis of 34 proposals to provide demographic information on the geographic areas specified in each of the proposals.
