Description
This Request is for the provision of a Safe at Home program (Safe at Home) in Port Hedland and within approximately a one-hour radius of the local area.
Non Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) will be encouraged to demonstrate place based ACCO partnership/s.
The aim of Safe at Home is to provide support for women, with or without accompanying children, who are experiencing family and domestic violence to stay in their home or a home of their choice, when it is safe to do so.
Safe at Home is offered as an alternative to crisis accommodation and is suited to victim-survivors in all styles of accommodation including public housing, private rental, or home ownership.
