Description

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Homelessness Service for Douglas Shire.

The purpose of this Service is to engage a suitably qualified single supplier to deliver a culturally safe, trauma informed specialist homelessness service to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The service will also be responsible for delivering access and community education activities to link service users to specialist domestic and family violence services and specialist homelessness services. A key aspect of the service is the delivery of a two placement shelter in the Douglas Shire.

The supplier will be responsible for delivering the following:

  • ST6 Temporary Supported Accommodation;
  • ST5 Mobile Support Services; and
  • T102 Access and Community Education Services
