Description
Netbackup is Lotterywest’s backup and recovery solution. Lotterywest has two data centres connected by dark fibre and Netbackup is implemented with Media and Puredisk pool servers at each site with deduped data replicated between. Lifecycle policies control retention with information also written to tape. The current version of Netbackup is 7.0.1. Lotterywest wish to replace the existing media and puredisk servers with an integrated Symantec NBU 5220 appliance at each site and upgrade Netbackup to version 7.5.
