Description
Wadjemup / Rottnest Island is a significant tourist destination in the State of Western Australia. The Rottnest Island Golf Course (RIGC), combines a nine-hole golf course, putting green, bowling green and function facilities.
Rottnest Island Authority is seeking a suitably qualified, skilled and experienced Maintenance and Irrigation contractor (Contractor) to complete all related maintenance and irrigation works to effectively maintain RIGC whilst complying with the environmental licences.
The Contractor will undertake work at RIGC Monday to Friday (weather dependent, excluding weekends and public holidays). The Contractor will be responsible for the general maintenance and irrigation of the course.
A summary of the requirements include:
- Turf maintenance
- Fertiliser application
- Repairs of course and surrounding areas.
- Green renovations
- Reporting to Golf Course Superintendent
- Monitoring as per licencing conditions
