Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation
ADS-1 Robotic Detector Positioning System
Details
Description
The ADS beamlines are the fifth and sixth beamlines being built within the Australian Synchrotron/ANSTO BR–GHT program. The Advanced Diffraction and Scattering (ADS) beamlines will provide high energy X-rays to the Australian and New Zealand synchrotron User communities for dedicated diffraction and imaging experiments. Two simultaneously operating ADS (ADS-1 and ADS-2) beamlines will operate independently with the beam generated by a powerful superconducting multipole wiggler (SCMPW). ADS-1 will have tuneable focussing/collimating optics that will combine with a fixed exit double crystal Laue monochromator (DCLM) to provide monochromatic beam of varying size, band-pass and intensity to a large end-station located outside the main synchrotron building.
The Supplier shall design, supply, install and commission a robotic detector positioning systems for the endstation of the ADS-1 beamline.
