Perpetrator Intervention Service

Proposals are invited for the provision of Domestic and Family Violence Perpetrator Intervention Service on the Gold Coast. The service will deliver individual counselling, group perpetrator intervention programs and information to male respondents at the Southport specialist domestic and family violence (DFV) court. Funding of $764,091 excluding GST per annum is provided and the contract length is 5 years and 1 month.

Scope of services required to be delivered include:

• Information to male respondents in DFV court proceedings at the specialist domestic and family violence court located at Southport Magistrates Court. This service will be delivered Monday to Friday.
• Delivery of evidence-based group perpetrator intervention programs that support victim safety and assist perpetrators to change their violent behaviour. Program delivery must include ongoing safety and risk assessments, women’s advocacy role and individual counselling and support to men attending the Perpetrator Intervention Program.
