Description
The Leaving Violence Program is a key Australian Government funded initiative under the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022-2032 and will contribute to improved safety, economic security and independence for victim-survivors.
The Program will support victim-survivors through the provision of financial support packages, risk assessments, safety planning and referrals to support victim-survivors of intimate partner violence to make choices about leaving violent relationships. Eligible victim-survivors can access up to $5,000 in financial support and short-term referral services, risk assessments and safety planning for a period of up to 12 weeks.
This procurement will result in the awarding of a contract with a service provider for delivery of the LVP. The contract will commence in early 2025 and following a transition-in period, will begin services on 1 July 2025 for an initial 5-year term. The contract term includes extension options up to an additional 3 years to 30 June 2033 and a transition-in period (up to 5 months in duration) from the date of contract signature to 1 July 2025.
