Description

The Corporte Administration Agency (CAA) is working on behalf of the State Library of Queensland (SLQ) in this instance.

Suitably qualified and experienced professional audio visual equipment Contractor' an invited to submit an offer to provide an audio-visual solution for the Indigenous digital welcome wall in the kuril dhagun Indigenous Knowledge Centre at the State Library of Queensland (SLQ), Level 1 – Infozone, Stanley Place, South Brisbane.

SLQ is seeking the supply, installation and integration of 12 x slim bezel 46” LCD screens (equivalent or better than model: NEC MultiSync X461UN) in a 3 (high) x 4 (wide) configuration (including warranty and help desk support) to connect to a single Mac Pro computer to create a digital Indigenous Welcome Wall.

All screens are to be of a commercial grade ensuring maximum reliability, life span and performance.

The following items will be part of the overall project, however, these items will be the responsibility of SLQ to coordinate (and are not part of this tender);

* Cabinetry and electrical services;
* Supply of the Mac Pro computer; and
* Production &/or installation of the software program for display.

It is a highly desirable requirement of this tender that a sole Contractor provides the supply, installation and on-going help desk support services.

The entire project as a whole will be required to be completed within 2 weeks from 27 September to 8 October 2010 (to minimise interruption to the public access area, as SLQ is open 364 days per year). Additional to these tendered works, SLQ will also organise for cabinetry work, electrical services, IT and final touches to be completed during the same 2 week period to ensure the project as a whole is completed within the required timeframe.

Note: SLQ will not be able to take receipt of any hardware until the period of installation.

To ensure all offers are submitted in accordance with the requirements, offerors are invited to the Mandatory Industry Briefing at 10:00am, Monday 21 June2010 at the State Library of Queensland, Meeting Room 1B, Level 1, Stanley Place, South Brisbane QLD 4101, which will be followed by a work site inspection of the kuril dhagun space. Approximately 1 hour should be allocated for this briefing.

Only offerors’ who attend this industry briefing, will be eligible to submit an Offer for evaluation. Refer to page 6 of the tender document for full details regarding the briefing and your attendance advice required by CAA.
