Extended Post Care Support Program (Brisbane and Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Central, North Queensland and Far North Queensland Regions)

The Queensland Government is responsible for ensuring help and support is available to young people in their transition from statutory care to adulthood, so they can function successfully across all life domains and achieve their full potential.

To improve outcomes for young people, and to align with other Australian States and Territories, the Queensland Government announced a funding commitment to support the needs of young people in care to their 21^st birthday, to ensure they are better supported to transition to adulthood.

The Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs invites offers from qualified suppliers to deliver Extended Post Care Support Program to the following locations:

Service locations

The locations for this tender include:

• Brisbane and Moreton Bay Region (whole region)
• Maroochydore and Caloundra - Sunshine Coast and Central Region
• Townsville – North Queensland Region
• Far North Queensland (whole region)

The new EPCS services are intended to complement and not duplicate the supports already available in the service system through Next Step Plus, Youth Housing and Reintegration Services (YHARS) and Youth Support and Accommodation Services.
