The Children and Community Services Ministerial Body through the Department for Child Protection and Family Support (the Department) is seeking responses from suitable Respondents for the provision of a Family and Domestic Violence Accommodation and Support Service – Cluster Model in the Ellenbrook Area.
Consistent with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy, July 2011 the Department intends to engage with the not-for-profit community service sector and Local Government Authorities for the provision of this service.
The service will provide supported and/or safe accommodation to women, with or without accompanying children, who as a result of family and domestic violence or other crisis are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. An integrated and comprehensive service will be provided for women and children, including larger families and older boys, through a combination of five different sized, independent units situated in one secure location. In addition, the service will provide a Safe at Home program and an outreach support service for clients accommodated and women in the community.
A non-mandatory briefing to Respondents will be conducted on Wednesday, 10 December 2014 at 10.00am at the Department for Child Protection and Family Support, Seminar Room, 189 Royal Street, East Perth WA 6004.
