Construction of Milling Bypass Great Northern Highway Muchea to Wubin SLK 177.5 to 185.8

Pre-qualification: To be eligible to tender, tenderers must be prequalified with Main Roads Roadworks Category R3 or higher.

The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in conjunction with the Building Code 2016, applies to this project. The Building Code document is available at employment.gov.au/building-code.

It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005, at the time of the Tender closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Regulation 24(1)(h) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)
