Details
Description
The Office of Multicultural Interests purchases services from organisations to address the priority needs of migrants through building capacity, knowledge and skills.
The Multicultural Partnerships Program (MPP) 2015-18 funds services to address the priority needs of migrants through building capacity, knowledge and skills. The MPP is a triennial funding program that supports partnership service delivery models between not-for-profit organisations, ethnic organisations and/or ethnic community groups.
The purpose of the MPP 2015-18 is to improve the design and delivery of services to ethnic communities, build the capacity of all partners to lead and develop services, and create the relationships needed to address complex problems impacting migrants today.
This request invites organisations to submit an Offer to deliver services in response to the following priority areas:
- The African Leadership Initiative is a capacity building program for African communities in Western Australia which aims to result in a recognised leadership network for the community.
- A Shared Future is a capacity building program to increase social cohesion by working with young people to provide the knowledge and skills to counter the potential of radicalisation, increase intercultural understanding and reduce economic, social and cultural isolation.
- A Global Workforce is a capacity building program to assist migrants to seek out and to gain employment and increase workforce participation in their area of training and qualification.
