Description
The Department for Education provides child-care, preschool and school education services for children and students in South Australia. The Department has pre-school and school sites located throughout the State and also professional and administrative units in the metropolitan area and regional centres.
Asset and Business Services manages building and grounds services corporately for the Department owned and operated schools, corporate units, and other work sites. The Building Code of Australia requires that owners and operators of such public buildings provide adequate facilities for the disposal of personal sanitary articles.
The successful Tenderer(s) will be required to:
- Supply and maintain both Sanitary Disposal Units and Nappy Disposal Units (“Disposal Units”) for the Department’s sites (hereafter the “Services”). This includes the delivery and placement of sanitised Disposal Units in the first instance and the regular collection and replacement (maintenance) of Disposal Units in Department sites thereafter.
Comply with the Work Health & Safety Act 2012 and relevant regulations, codes of practice, Australian Standards and local health and safety policies.
