Home Care Supports for KACS Clients in the Kimberley Region

The WA Country Health Service, Kimberley Aged and Community Services (KACS) requires the provision of home care supports to encourage KACS clients in the Kimberley region to remain independent and continue living in their homes and communities. KACS facilitates programs and service delivery based on providing care as close to home (country) as possible, for clients across the Kimberley region by local staff based in and from these communities. This allows clients to maintain language, customs and connection to culture and family and overall well-being. All services and supports for daily living are provided within this framework. A range of services under a brokerage model will be sought, including care services, support services, clinical services, and other services to support a person living at home. WACHS will support the purchase of services from Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) in the first instance through this restricted Request for Tender (RFT) process.
