Description
The Western Australian State Government has identified technology and advanced manufacturing as a priority to grow and diversify the economy, create jobs, and secure the State’s future. The Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Hub (AMTECH) has been proposed to unlock industry potential and leverage the South West of WA’s comparative advantages in manufacturing, critical mineral processing and offshore energy generation support. A detailed investigation of the feasibility of AMTECH is required. The investigation will identify the preferred model, location/s, structure and services for AMTECH, including research, training and advanced manufacturing technology capacity for industry participants in an innovative education/manufacturing collaboration.
