Jobs and Skills Centres - Aboriginal Support Services

The VET (WA) Ministerial Corporation represented by the Department of Training and Workforce Development, is undertaking a competitive process to engage Service Providers to deliver Jobs and Skills Centre (JSC) services across regional and remote Western Australia.

JSCs support the State Government’s WA JobsPlan initiative by providing practical assistance to local business, industries and jobseekers to enable the take-up of opportunities that will be created by the future growth and diversification of the economy.

JSCs are "one-stop shops" supporting individuals and businesses to build a skilled workforce. JSCs operate as a State-wide network providing outreach services to business and the community. JSC Service Providers have the flexibility to shape the JSC services according to their local context and the needs of local businesses, communities and client groups. The services will ensure that all Western Australians have access to up-to-date and meaningful training, employment and career development information and opportunities.

This Request for Tender (RFT) is one of two separate RFTs which seeks responses from organisations capable of delivering high quality JSC services. The contracts established as a result of this process will be for a period of up to seven years, beginning from 1 July 2022. The services will be delivered in identified regional locations throughout the State (specified in Section 1.2.5).

Respondents may offer to deliver services within one or more regions, however must provide a Response Form (Part H) for each region separately.

Standalone contracts for each JSC service in each region will be established to support Respondents to be more flexible, innovative and responsive to the community, cultural and individual needs of each region.
