Standing Offer Panel for the Provision of Engineering Services to the Department of Defence

The Department of Defence is seeking contracted services to carry out engineering services at Defence sites in support of this requirement. The Scientific Engineering Services (SES), Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), based at Edinburgh South Australia, provide engineering support to the DSTO. To supplement the in-house capability, SES requires Contractor support, either on-site at DSTO Edinburgh SA or at the Contractor's premises, in the field of Engineering Design and Fabrication, Mechanical Computer Aided Drafting and Electro-Mechanical Computer Aided Drafting, at both design and detail level, for the following applications:

• multi-disciplinary systems for fitment to land, sea and air Australian Defence Force platforms
• Electro-mechanical equipment
• Opto-mechanical equipment
• Structures
• Mechanisms and instrumentation
• Mechanical equipment
• Electrical equipment
• Electronics equipment - including Analogue, Digital, Data Acquisition, Power, Logic, Embedded Processor and Hosted Software
• Airborne equipment
• Electro-mechanical equipment packaging
• Sheet-metal component/assemblies
• Structural installations
• Workshop equipment maintenance
