Description
he Public Transport Authority (PTA) is implementing an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) replacement project with additional 10kph reinforcement at various locations over PTA network. The original ATP equipment was installed on the urban rail network in 1992-1993 (excluding the Mandurah line). This is now an obsolete technology and is no longer supported by the equipment manufacturer. The scope requires installation of new equipment and alteration to circuitry within existing signalling location cases, cable laying, and testing and commissioning of the new ATP system. The works are to take place as per the work locations listed in Book 4.
