Provision of Electronics Services for Schools in Regional Western Australia

The Department of Finance’s Building Management and Works (BMW) facilitates the delivery of maintenance services on non-residential buildings owned by the State Government, including schools.
BMW, on behalf the Department of Education (DOE) manages an ongoing programme for Intruder Alarm System replacements and upgrades in Primary and Senior High Schools throughout Western Australia.
BMW also manages breakdown repair services for Intruder Alarm Systems in Primary and Senior High Schools throughout Western Australia.

Annual regional expenditure on intruder alarm breakdowns, replacements and upgrades for financial year 2016-2017 was approximately $306,000 and comprised of approximately 355 service requests.
BMW is seeking to create a panel of qualified and experienced contractors to provide Intruder Alarm System and Closed-Circuit-Television (CCTV) breakdown repair services, as well as the provision of Intruder Alarm Systems replacements and upgrades on an as required basis in the following regions:
• Northern (including Pilbara and Kimberley);
• Central (including Mid West, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt and Goldfields -Esperance); and
• Southern (including South West and Great Southern).

The Panel Arrangement will generally involve individual work valued at less than $250,000 (including GST) and typically below $1,500.

To be eligible to offer for these services Respondents are REQUIRED TO BE MEMBERS OF THE BMW SERVICE ALLIANCE 2012. Respondents are required to be members prior to the close of tenders.
