Description

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to technical issues, tender responses are unable to be uploaded to QTender. Please use one of the submission options outlined in Addendum 4 instead!

Technical Services, a business unit of the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, invites you to submit an offer in response to this tender.

The department manages the public health and safety risks associated with numerous Abandoned Mines throughout the state, including the Mount Morgan Mine site. The Mount Morgan Mine site is situated adjacent to the Dee River and the township of Mount Morgan some 38 kilometres south-west of Rockhampton. We are seeking to engage a suitably experienced contractor to supply, install and commission an automated pumping system that will meet the specifications of the project and deliver up to 500L/sec.

Due to external constraints we are unable to facilitate site visits as part of this tender. A comprehensive information pack is being provided instead, which consists of drone flight footage, images and maps. To access the information pack, please email [email hidden] to request access with the company name, participant name and email address. Please allow up to one business day to receive the download link. The link will only work for the nominated email address and will only be accessible for the duration of the tender period.

To submit a conforming tender, please carefully read the instruction and submit at a minimum:

  • Completed Request For Quote Form
  • Completed Code of Conduct Commitment Letter
  • Completed Scope of Works document
  • Contractor Pre-Qualification HSE Checklist
  • Copies of insurances

This procurement activity is independent from, but complementing the tender for upstream seal works of Dam 8 (TS-AM20.013), which will open in due course, with the two procurement packages being tendered separately.

Should you have any further enquiries regarding this invitation, please contact Andrea Bell-Booth by email [email hidden]
