Particulars
The Resilient Homes Program is administered by the NSW Reconstruction Authority and is available for applications from homeowners that were impacted by the 2022 floods, including Ballina, Byron, Clarence, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Tweed Valley local government areas (7 LGAs). The program offers grants to make homes more resilient to future floods through funding home raising, rebuilding, relocation or retrofitting (Resilient Measures). More support for some homeowners is required to help them navigate the engagement of building industry professionals and the Resilient Measures grant process. This building advisory support service will provide eligible homeowners independent building advocacy assistance, helping them understand their options and navigate engagement with qualified building professionals.
