Description
The Specification (Book 4) covers the design, manufacture, routine and type testing at works and delivery to Perth of Booster Transformers.
These Booster Transformers are required to work with the overhead conductors of a 25kV 50Hz single phase a.c. railway electrification system, as part of the installation designed to limit inductive interference in neighbouring telecommunication and signalling circuits. The Booster Transformers are to be oil immersed and suitable for mast – mounting outdoors.
The quantity required is six (6) Booster Transformers with an option to provide additional booster transformers at PTA’s sole discretion
