Description
The Port of Townsville Limited “the Port” is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced hydrographic surveyor to assist with the Channel Upgrade (CU) project (Capital dredging) and the Port’s ongoing operational (maintenance dredging) requirements.
In relation to the capital dredging program (CU Project) the Port is undertaking a dredging campaign using a backhoe dredger, with solid and compact material removed from the seabed and transported by barge to the port reclamation area.
The Port has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of:
- CU Project – All works required to undertake a full class A bathymetric in survey including processing and reporting of the dredge area.
- CU Project – Clearance dredge survey and issue of a Clearance Notice and all works required to undertaken a full Class A bathymetric survey including processing and reporting of the clearance dredge area.
- CU Project – Post dredge survey on completion of all dredging works to provide a record of the works at the completion of the capital dredging program.
- CU Project – As required (field based) survey works.
- CU Project – As required (office based) survey support.
- Maintenance Dredging – Undertake detailed hydrographic survey auditing.
- Maintenance Dredging – Undertake hydrographic surveying work.
