Rothwell Temporary Accommodation

The Department of Housing has purchased a single level brick building that will have 17 semi self-contained rooms at 10–12 Springdale Street, Rothwell, and has issued this Invitation to Offer to procure a suitable Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) supplier to provide property and tenancy management, case management support and brokerage under the Homelessness Program and Crisis Accommodation Program (CAP).

The operational model is comprised of three service components:

• Property and tenancy management services in line with the Social Housing Program Specifications.
• Temporary Support Accommodation services in accordance with the Homelessness Program Guidelines Specifications and Requirements.
• Auxiliary services as outlined in Section 2.4 of the Requirements.

A site visit has been scheduled for 2.00 - 3.00 pm, Wednesday 17 January 2024 at 10 -12 Springdale Street, Rothwell.

It is a mandatory requirement that the successful supplier be an existing funded SHS provider and deliver services in accordance with the Homelessness Guidelines.

It is also a mandatory requirement that suppliers must complete the:

• Ethical Supplier Threshold form (refer to Schedule A – Response Schedule) and meet the Ethical Supplier Threshold.
• Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct 2023 Supplier formal declaration (refer to Schedule A – Response Schedule) and warrant that they comply with the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Expenditure Plan over a three-year period within the allocated budget. Expenditure Plans over the allocated budget will not be considered.
