Description
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (Exmouth) requires the manufacturing, commissioning, and supply of one, 7 - 7.5 metre multi-purpose patrol vessel with twin outboard motors and a heavy-duty trailer.
The preference is for the vessel to be of a rigid aluminium hull design with closed cell foam collars, however other materials may be considered. The vessel is to be constructed in accordance with the requirements of the National Standards for Commercial Vessels (NSCV), Western Australian (WA) Marine Act (1982), and the Uniform Shipping Law Code (USL Code), as required.
The vessel is intended for general marine park work including dive programs, research and monitoring, wildlife emergencies and marine park maintenance programs and will replace the existing vessel ‘Murlanda’. The vessel is to be suitable for works off the northwest coast and is to be delivered on a registered heavy duty aluminium trailer, in 2C survey and ready for operation.
The vessel is to be delivered to DBCA Exmouth District located in Exmouth, Western Australia.
