Description
The establishment of a support service for psychologically injured Queensland workers to assist them from commencement, during, and following the workers’ compensation claims process.
The service is anticipated to provide supplementary, non-technical, support for workers who experience difficulties navigating community supports as a result of the psychosocial impacts related to the workers’ compensation process.
The Service wil include applying therapeutic support skills (but not treatment) to meet the individual needs of the worker.
This engagement will be in the form of a grant over a maximum three year period.
