Description

As part of the METRONET Railcar Procurement Project (Project) the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is undertaking the delivery of 41 x 6-car Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) train Sets known as the “C-Series” and 4 x 3-car Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) train Sets for the “Australind” regional service. The PTA has appointed Alstom Transport Australia Pty Ltd (Alstom) for the design, supply, and maintenance of these new trains. In addition to delivery of trains, the Project is also undertaking various infrastructure works which will support PTA’s different train fleets. To support the successful delivery and entry into service of these various railcar depot works, the PTA requires the Services of a suitably qualified and experienced Coordinating Project Engineer(CPE) to perform various engineering management and assurance functions.
