PROMINENT HILL EXPANSION PROJECT (PHOX) - OZ Minerals - Prominent Hill - Primary Underground Crusher

OZ Minerals is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the supply, manufacture, delivery, commissioning and acceptance testing for one (1) off complete Primary Crusher Assembly to be installed underground at the OZ Minerals Prominent Hill mine.

Scope of Supply includes:

1. One (1) Primary Gyratory Crusher Assembly

2. The Primary Crusher Assembly shall include:
i. Primary crusher body assembly, including top and bottom shells, main shaft, main shaft bushings and bearings, spider and all wear liners.
ii. Primary crusher drive assembly, including (where applicable) wound rotor induction motor.
iii. Low Voltage motor electrolyte liquid resistance starter (LRS) suitable sized for motor starting duty.
iv. Hydraulic power packs, automatic lubrication systems and automatic main shaft adjustment system. Suitable electrical, control, instrumentation and monitoring field devices and local wiring.
v. Supplier's control and protection system including PLC and IO, local control unit, display, contactors, Ethernet module for interface with site SCADA supplied by others.

BHP's Prominent Hill Expansion Project (PHOX Project) is an upgrade to the existing Prominent Hill copper-gold mine deposit located approximately 130 km southeast of Coober Pedy and 150 km northwest of Roxby Downs. The PHOX Project is establishing a 1,300m deep shaft for ore transport to the surface in lieu of the existing truck haulage. The project includes underground truck loading chutes, underground primary crushing station, skip loading station, production hoisting system and surface materials handling infrastructure.
