INVITATION TO OFFER NO. QM 068/2018
The Queensland Museum (QM) (the Customer) is offering a unique opportunity to the market, to tender for the delivery of a high quality audio visual design, produce and build software for the multimedia exhibit components for the new Anzac Legacy Gallery (ALG) permanent exhibition due to open to the public 1 November 2018.
The Customer anticipates awarding a Contract with the successful Supplier (where possible) 30 May 2018, with the installation onto the hardware, on-site testing, debugging, delivery of source codes and master files to be completed between Monday, 10 September 2018 and Monday, 29 October 2018. The Customer’s Key Deliverables dates are further detailed in the Contract Details document, item 7 Contract term.
The audio visual hardware supply and hardware installation components are excluded from this Contract. The Customer expects the successful Supplier, of this Contract, coordinate and liaise with the successful Audio Visual (AV) Hardware Supplier and main exhibition fitout contractor (head contractor) as and when directed by Customer. The Multimedia Audio Visual (AV) Design and Production services of the ALG Exhibition incorporates (in summary):
- Design, production, testing, delivery, installation onto the hardware, on-site testing, debugging, delivery source codes and master files for a total of ten (10) ALG Interactive Creative Briefs.
- Manage, communicate, coordinate and liaise with the Customer’s appointed AV Hardware Supplier and main exhibition fitout contractor (head contractor) as the nominated subcontractor by the Customer.
The above is a summary of the scope of goods and services and the Supplier is to refer to Schedule 1 – Requirements of the Contract Details document for the fully specified Requirements.
Industry Briefing and site inspection: The Supplier’s attendance is regarded as highly desirable. Attendance is not mandatory.
