Description

The Inorganics Section (NMI, North Ryde) requires an ICP-OES/AES system with a proven capability for multi-element determination in samples such as soils, sediments, various waters, food, biota, pharmaceutical and miscellaneous chemicals.

The required ICP-OES/AES system must be delivered on-site, fully commissioned and ready to operate for routine samples. On-site training in the use of the instrument, software and maintenance must be provided.

The system is expected to include:

•A spectrometer with the capability to carry out multi-element determinations (either simultaneously or very fast sequentially).

•An auto-sampler.

•A computer system with advanced software to control all aspects of instrument operation and data processing.

•A reliable chiller that can sustain the cooling requirements for the operation of the system.

•Other associated accessories that are needed to meet safety requirements for operation.
