Disability Professional Services Review

Given the changes to Disability Professional Services since its inception, it is imperative to examine its currency, and to identify options for an effective program that responds to the needs, goals and preferences of people with disability within the current and future social and economic climates.
The review will focus on Disability Professional Services for the school age and adult populations, and the comprehensive and targeted framework. Broadly, the review will:
• examine the purpose of Disability Professional Services;
• analyse current service provision including models, staffing, service penetration, outcomes;
• examine the current demand and projected potential demand for services; and
• identify the elements and scope of a contemporary Disability Professional Service.
