Description
The Western Australian State Government has supported the Western Australian Visitor Centre (WAVC) since its inception. Currently located at 55 William Street, Perth, the WAVC provides services for the whole State. The WAVC is the State’s ‘bricks and mortar’ tourism ‘shop front’. The WAVC provides and displays information on a wide range of destinations, attractions and tourism product across the State and also takes bookings for these products. In addition, the WAVC has a retail area, selling mainly travel related products, such as maps, books and souvenirs.
Tourism WA is seeking to appoint a suitably resourced entity (company, sole trader or not-for-profit association) to provide visitor information services, retail sales and booking services for the WAVC.
