Two Way Radio Communication system Upgrade Project

The scope of the Campus Life digital two-way radio upgrade project encompasses the upgrade of the existing Security and Maintenance analogue two-way radio system/s that provides communications to the following Griffith University campuses:

• Logan
• Nathan
• Mount Gravatt
• Gold Coast
• South Bank

In selecting the Contractor, the objectives include:

• Implement a system that is flexible/agile in design & technology to offer a long term sustainable platform;
• Provide best of breed radio communication systems for managing the University’s duty of care needs (emergency management);
• Provide a total coverage solution;
• Sourcing an innovative Contractor who will display best practice and excellent standards;
• Identification and proactive management of operational risks in conjunction with the Customer;
• Maintaining compliance of contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements; and
• Establishment of an effective working relationship between the Contractor and the Customer.
