Ezko Commercial Services Pty Ltd (Ezko) has been providing cleaning services for BDA, from May 2023 to 31 August 2024. A variation was processed for the period 31 July 2023 to 31 July 2024 under the Western Parkland City Authority contract WPCA000251/22 Tenancy Clean – Penrith. When the cleaning contract owner was consulted, Ventia Government’s preferred supplier quoted higher rates and required a separate storeroom, which the building cannot accommodate. As a result, it was decided to amend the existing contract with Ezko, extending it by one year to 31 July 2024, with plans to issue a selective RFQ and establish a 2-to-3-year contract afterward. Current Status:They are a small-to-medium enterprise (SME). Procurement will work with the cleaning contract owner to explore cost-effective options and resolve the storage room issue. If unresolved, CEO approval will be sought to issue a market tender, as the current cleaning contract does not meet BDA requirements.
