Request for Quotation - Supply and Install Security Gate at John Street Depot

Currently the front gate at Gympie Regional Council’s (Council) John Street depot has two (hinged gates that remain open during the day which enables easy access to the depot and warehouse facility. To increase the security of the depot Council is considering installing a sliding automatic gate, including CCTV surveillance equipment and intercom systems, so only Council staff have access during the day and after hours. Council is also considering the installation of a boom gate across the entrance to the warehouse yard. The installation of the boom gate will be dependent on the price offered and consequent funding if Council decides to go ahead with the boom gate.

Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to supply and install an automatic security gate for the front entrance of the john street depot and potentially supply and install a boom gate across the entrance to the warehouse yard as particularised in the specifications.
