Lower Murray Water
Millewa Irrigation Pump Station Replacement
Details
Description
Lower Murray Water is looking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to construct a new pump station in Millewa.
The existing Millewa pump station is located approximately 500m upstream of Lock 9 on the Victorian bank of the Murray River. The station delivers river water via a short pipeline to an earthen channel that feeds Lake Cullulleraine approximately 8 km south.
The new pump station will be built on the same site and will maintain flows to Lake Cullulleraine while also being able to lower the Lock 9 weir pool.
The pump station will be constructed to a detailed design with all relevant approvals under New South Wales and Victorian jurisdiction.
The Local Jobs First Policy and Social Procurement Framework requirements will be followed in this tender.
