OZ Minerals is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the design, supply, delivery and commissioning for the High Voltage Variable Speed Drives for Prominent Hill Mine Site.

BHP's Prominent Hill Expansion Project (PHOX Project) is an upgrade to the existing Prominent Hill copper-gold mine deposit located approximately 130 km southeast of Coober Pedy and 150 km northwest of Roxby Downs. The PHOX Project is establishing a 1,300m deep shaft for ore transport to the surface in lieu of the existing truck haulage. The project includes underground truck loading chutes, underground primary crushing station, skip loading station, production hoisting system and surface materials handling infrastructure.
