You are invited to submit a tender for consideration by Defence for your company to be included on a Defence Standing Offer panel arrangement to provide a broad range of research, scientific, engineering and other technical services to support the Defence Science and Technology Organisation’s (DSTO) research and development projects

The new Standing Offer panel resulting from this procurement process will replace a number of recently expired and existing panels used by DSTO, and the individual Divisions within DSTO, to support its research and development activities.

The Standing Offer panel will operate for an initial period of 3 years with 3 further year extension options at Defence’s discretion.

As an outcome of this procurement activity DSTO is seeking to reduce the number of Standing Offer panels currently providing services to DSTO. The new single Standing Offer panel will, however, include 22 individual categories of Skill Sets providing services to the majority of the individual Divisions within DSTO, and tenderers may tender to deliver one or more Skill Set categories. This new arrangement is expected to streamline administration and standardise the arrangements for engaging service providers supporting DSTO projects.
