Mechanical Support Services

The Department of Defence via the Mechanical Engineering Operations Maintenance Section (MEOMS) are tasked to deliver fully serviceable Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in support of air and ground operations at RAAF base East Sale.

MEOMS is seeking to establish a standing offer panel arrangement of tenderers to work under the direction and supervision of the aircraft GSE supervisor to conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the GSE. The contractor/s will be required to:

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE;

• Complete the maintenance documentation in accordance with the MEOMS instructions;

• Carry out 3, 6, 9 &12 monthly inspections on all GSE; and

• Carry out unscheduled maintenance and or additional mechanical work as required.
