Supply of Desktop Scanners Hardware

The purpose of this Request for Offer (RFO) is to invite offers from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of USB connected flatbed colour scanners (Scanner Products) for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (“TMR” and “Customer”) Customer Service Centres.

TMR has concurrently released Request For Offer EIS10038 – Managed Services for Desktop Scanner Products with this RFO. It is intended that responses to both RFOs will be evaluated at the same time.

TMR reserves the right to consider sourcing the scanners from:
(a) A successful Offerer from this RFO process to provide some or all of the scanners as hardware acquisition (including warranty) only; or
(b) A successful Offerer from the EIS10038 – Managed Services for Desktop Scanner Products RFO process to provide some or all of the scanners as a fully Managed Service; or
(c) A combination of the above; or
(d) Not select any of the Offers.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Customer will likely select an Offer from only one of the two RFOs (that is, either the EIS10038 – Managed Services for Desktop Scanner Products RFO or the EIS10039 Supply of Desktop Scanners Hardware RFO), meaning that no Offers submitted for the other RFO will be selected.

Offerers are encouraged to submit one or more Offers to either or both RFOs, as appropriate for their ability and resources.
