Description

East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is transitioning Mount Lawley Hospital (MLH) from private to public operation on 31 August 2026. As part of this transition, a new on?site hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platform is required to support critical clinical and operational systems. Respondents are required to propose a fit-for-purpose HCI solution that meets MLH’s resilience, performance, availability, and scalability needs. The solution must provide enterprise-grade compute, support fault tolerance, operate across multiple server rooms, include an on-premises witness node, and provide sufficient storage capacity with room for expansion. Alignment to reference architecture (1+1+1, 2+2+1, or 3+3+1 configuration) is preferred. Proposals must include all necessary hardware, software, licensing, and components to deliver a fully operational platform. Optional services may include detailed design, build, and short-term support through to August 2026. A draft design will be required by 6 March 2026, with build activities to commence following design acceptance and hardware delivery. Please refer to the RFQ document for the full description of works and detailed requirements.
