Corryong & Dartmouth WTP UV Installation

North East Water (NEW) are seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to successfully design, construct, install and commission Ultraviolet (UV) treatment units at two (2) separate treatment plants – Corryong & Dartmouth. NEW will free issue the Nuvonic ProLine PQ AL100 UV unit for both locations.
The works at Corryong Water Treatment Plant (WTP) involve installation of the UV unit, piping connections, modification to existing piping and integration of UV control with existing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. All works will be completed with minimal impact on WTP operation. The Corryong WTP is located on Greenwattle Gap Road to the south of Corryong township, this WTP provides drinking water for Corryong and nearby Cudgewa.
The works at Dartmouth WTP involve installation of the UV unit, piping connections, modification to existing piping, shed enhancement, stormwater improvements, back up diesel generator installation and integration of UV control with existing PLC and SCADA systems. All works will be completed with minimal impact on WTP operation. The Dartmouth WTP is located on Dartmouth Road to the east of Dartmouth township, this WTP provides drinking water for Dartmouth.

The works at both sites will be completed whilst the Water Treatment Plants are operational and producing drinking water for the respective townships. Management plans will be required to manage the shared site activities to ensure ongoing operational access.
