The Department for Child Protection is seeking offers from interested non government organisations for the provision of the Inner City/Northbridge At Risk Youth Service. Consistent with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy only organisations that comply with the Not for Profit status, Local Government Authorities or Religious/Charitable organisation status are eligible to respond to this request. The desired Community Outcome is that at risk young people are supported to increase their safety and wellbeing. The Inner City/Northbridge At Risk Youth Service provides street present support and referral for at risk young people in the inner city area to keep them safe. Young people at risk connect with appropriate support services, family members, peers and their communities to build on their skills and develop resilience to stay safe.

A mandatory briefing will be conducted between 10.00am - 12.00pm on Monday, 1 August 2011 at the Department for Child Protection, Seminar Rooms 3 & 4, 189 Royal Street, East Perth. Respondents are requested to confirm their attendance by no later than 5.00pm on Friday, 29 July 2011 by faxing or emailing the registration form (Attachment 1) to Cindy Magtuto by facsimile at 9221 0178 or email to [email hidden].

A further workshop will be conducted on Wednesday, 10 August 2011 to develop and finalise the service requirements. An additional workshop to finalise the service requirements will be conducted if deemed necessary by the Department. The updated service requirements will be provided to respondents as a formal addendum/addition to the Request document by the 26 August 2011.

Failure to attend the mandatory briefing and workshops will result in an Offer being ineligible further consideration.
