Yanchep Rail Master Plan - NW Rail Design

Western Australia is currently experiencing significant population growth due mainly to the strong economy and resource base. As part of the establishment of a Master Plan for the Yanchep Rail Line Extension, the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is now looking to preserve land north of Yanchep for possible future rail extensions, therefore allowing adequate land take within the respective Regional Planning Schemes. To complete this task, the PTA will need to understand the opportunities and constraints in the region, in terms of land development and rail design, including environmental issues and other physical features.
